Joan Leteipa – Associate Coach

Joan Leteipa is a life coach with a passion for building sustainable support structures for young leaders. A trained Success Teams leader and certified Life Orientations (LIFO) trainer and consultant, Joan is also an associate of the Center for Creative Leadership. Joan is a social innovation fellow with Rockefeller foundation under the Waterloo Institute of Social Innovation and Resilience (WISIR). Her work with young leaders spans diverse cultures that include Kenya, Norway, Uganda, Malawi and Ethiopia among others. Joan is .

With her approach of empowering community leaders to develop solutions rooted in people’s needs and lifestyles, Joan brings human centered design methodology into Cogent Afrique.

Joan has a rich experience of over 15years ininternational development focusing in capacity building; ten of those years have been with TechnoServe, a 50-year-old nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., that works with enterprising people in the developing world to build competitive farms, businesses and industries.

Most notably, Joan has set up and led projects in business process outsourcing, mobile solutions for agricultural value chains, women/girls growth oriented enterprises as well as overseen technical and business support for food processing medium and large businesses.

She has been undertaking evaluations for development programs with ‘ET Jackson’ a Canadian international management consulting firm and is a design associate with Mosaic Mindshare in creating communities of collaboration.

 

Charles Wambua  – Intern 

Charles Wambua is a second year student at Kenyatta University studying toward a bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.  Charles participated in the first  Success Team workshop in 2016 , where he  fully  embraced the space of discovering his own personal strengths and the process of setting personal and professional goals. He brings to Cogent Afrique a vibrancy and energy  that  is  very instrumental in managing logistics for Cogent Afrique events.
