Colleta believes in each one’s potential and ability to experience success and she is enthusiastic about bringing out the best in people. Her greatest strengths are versatility, connectedness, individualization, people development, empathy and harmony. She is a life coach, trainer and facilitator of dialogue among individuals and teams that want to make a positive impact in their world.
As a result of living and working in Kenya, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Burundi and Ethiopia, Colleta developed a special interest in dual-career families, (especially the accompanying spouse), and returnees from the diaspora because their challenges are seldom understood; she dedicates herself to helping them manage transition and flourish in their new space. Colleta is a certified trainer in LIFO behavior and communication styles and an associate of the Center for Creative Leadership. She is a certified Success Teams leader and trainer who holds an MBA in coaching and mentoring for leadership and management from the University of Wales.
Prior to founding Cogent Afrique Ltd, Colleta was Education and Learning Officer at ACCA Ethiopia, where she supported accounting trainees to complete their professional exams and transition into ACCA membership.
Colleta is a regular contributor of short reflections and devotionals at Judson Press and Africa Upper Room Ministries. She is a member of the Early Birds Toastmasters’ club in Nairobi, The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA) and International Coach Federation (ICF). She is a wife and mum who enjoys Zumba workouts and a game of squash every now and then.
